Get Started Eating Healthy Cooking Class Series
6:30 to 9:00PM
Fee: $35 each class
It has been two years since Val offered a beginning series, so be sure to attend this one if you are serious about getting healthy. This series features cooking with: whole grains, nutrient dense vegetables, plant based proteins, sea vegetables, and naturally fermented foods. You will learn to create sugar-free desserts so good you won't miss the sugar at all. In each class you will learn to create an entire meal.
If you are planning on joining this class, be sure to attend the lecture on Wednesday, January 18, to get all the information you need to start on your path to healthy eating.
Jan. 25- First Cooking Class:
Miso Soup served with Pressure Cooked Brown Rice, Layered Mochi and Vegetable Casserole, Tempeh Collards and Carrots, Diakon Pickles
February 1- Second Cooking Class:
Millet Squash Casserole, Vegetable Bean Stew, Quick Bok Choy, Pressed Salad
Feb. 8- Third Cooking Class:
Amaranth Quinoa Soup, Arame Broccoli and Corn Sauté, Baked Marinated Tofu, Pear Blueberry Kanten Dessert

In this class you will learn proper cutting skills, all about whole grains, and how to create a complete meal. If you missed the Get Started Series then here is your chance to learn the basics of whole food, vegan cooking.

Winter Cooking Class Series

Learn how to prepare warming dishes for the cold season. Featuring kasha, a gluten free whole grain. During each class you learn to prepare a whole meal.
February 22: Kasha Pasta Arame Sweet Potato Casserole, Red Lentil Squash Ginger Soup, Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
February 29: Kasha Rolled Oats Tofu Mochi Casserole, Baked Beans and Sweet Potato Casserole, Sweet Vegetables in Miso Sauce
